Afrormosia is very uniform colored dense hardwood which offers a lot of "ribbon striped" figure when quarter sawn.

Color Range:
Afrormosia undergoes a large degree of color change over time with pronounced darkening from a golden tan color when freshly milled to a uniform medium brown when fully aged.

Color Change:
Afrormosia is one of the most uniform in color range woods that WFI works with. Afrormosia is a golden tan teak color when freshly milled.

Afrormosia may be used both residentially and commercially wherever the uniform rich look of afrormosia is desired.

Allergic Reactions:
Afrormosia has been known to cause both contact dermatitis and respiratory allergic reactions so care must be taken when coming in contact with Afrormosia dust.
