Wood Flooring International works closely with designers whose demanding projects require a certain look
and performance standard from their flooring.
The process entails:
- First, which style of installation is appropriate for your project
- naildown, gluedown or floating.
- Second, which look is desired - a strip/plank linear look, parquet,
or herringbone.
- Third, what type of finish - on-site or factory pre-finished, then
what gloss levels, stain
colors, beveled or square edged, looks are required.
- Fourth, which specie is desired - and do you need further color and/or grain sorting of
that species.
We invite designers to work with us in making the final wood
selection to be used. Matched sets of control samples can be used to obtain
color/grain selections, for those who require additional selections made of a
given species. Some of the finest residential and
commercial projects in the nation have been supplied by Wood Flooring International using this method.
