Stair Treads are typically supplied
glued up in width from three pieces of color/grain matched lumber to
create treads which are 1-1/16" thick by 11-1/2" wide by
specified length. Sometimes we offer one piece treads in certain
species. The treads are supplied with a bull nose on one long edge,
sanded good face and are unfinished to allow site finishing after
installation.
Treads may also be ordered with bull
nosed ends (on the end grain) or with mitered returns on a special order
basis - see drawings below. We can also supply custom starter
treads and custom curved treads. Please contact WFI for complete
details.
Treads are offered by the piece, cut to specified
length for your specific projects. We also offer treads in 500 lineal
foot Distribution Value Packs in a mix of longer random lengths for
stocking distributors who then cut them to length for their customers.
