| Brazilian
Teak is a dense hard wood with a range of
colors varying from a tan brown to a reddish brown with some
pieces offering a black striping. |

Brazilian Teak is usually color sorted into
medium and dark range selections in which the tan brownish tones
are offered in the regular (or medium) selection while the dark
reddish browns are offered in the dark selection.

slightly mute over time into a more uniform color in the range
offered.

| Brazilian Teak may be used residentially or commercially wherever a
rich tan brown color is desired.

Stability:
Brazilian
Teak is very unstable when used in dry
climates and is prone to shrinkage. Care must be taken to
source this specie from those who “over dry” it and to then
properly equalize it prior to installation. For additional

before commencing any site finishing. Oil finishes may
react adversely/not dry when used on Brazilian Teak. ALWAYS test the finish you propose
to use FIRST on test pieces to insure compatibility.
